Hello everyone,
Spring Sports are here! If you weren't aware, on the Cardinal Connection from 1/21 I had asked for people to reach out if there was interest from your child to play either Boys' Volleyball or Track and Field. If your child is interested in playing Boys' Volleyball, please, please, please let me know soon as the technical deadline to register was yesterday but since I had not heard anything yet, if there is interest I will extend it by another week.
For Track and Field, the first day we can start practice is February 28th. If your children are interested in competing, please reach out to me with any questions you have. If you know your child wants to compete, please register on the school website and let me know as well so I can get a good idea for a head count.
I will also need volunteers to coach for track and Volleyball as well. We would prefer 2-4 volunteers maximum for T&F so that there can be coaches working with the Boys and Girls since they race at meets separately and may not always be at the same location together. For volleyball it's the standard 1-2 coach staff. If you are interested in coaching, please reach out as soon as possible so we can get you in compliance with the archdiocese.
I can't wait to see what kind of turn-out occurs and I hope that there's plenty of enthusiasm to go around too!
